Hi, I’m Professor David Orozco. I currently teach business law at the College of Business at Florida State University in Tallahassee. Prior to moving to Florida in 2010, I taught business law, entrepreneurship and intellectual property at the School of Business and Economics at Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Mich.
My research and views on intellectual property and other aspects of business law have appeared in MIT Sloan Management Review, The Wall Street Journal, Opinio Juris and the As it Happens N.P.R. program.
This site houses my thoughts and impressions on business law, DIY law, legal strategy, intellectual property, innovation and entrepreneurship. I strive to imbue these stories and anecdotes with a pop culture twist, and try my best to make the topic entertaining, insightful and relevant to your life.
Occasionally, I welcome guest writers to this blog to share their insights into the myriad ways that business, law and culture intersect in our society. Journalist and entrepreneur C.E. Hanifin makes frequent contributions as an editor and writer.
Thanks for dropping by!
